You Are As You Write

IN the more than 30 years Allan Kirk, The Graphology Guru, has been analysing handwriting, he has analysed hundreds and hundreds of handwriting specimens, analysing the writing on contract for individuals or organisations, and publicly at fairs and shopping malls to raise funds for charitable organisations.

In those hundreds writing specimens he has seen all sorts of fascinating signs in the writing.

Indeed, in several cases he has asked the writers of handwriting specimens to consult their doctor for a heart check up. (The graphological indication of a heart disease problem is obvious, if you know what you are looking for). Unfortunately, in two of these cases it was too late - despite medical intervention they both died shortly thereafter of a heart attack. Others have got early treatment for the problem and one told the Guru that she already knew she had a "dicky heart valve".

The following are just a few samples of some of the graphological indications The Graphology Guru has seen and interpreted.

Signatures.
Your signature represents your idea of yourself and how you hope others will see you.

The signature will develop naturally but, more likely, it is produced by practice to see whether we "like it" or whether it is a good-looking signature, etc.

Some signatures are 'original' in that they bear no relationship to the overall handwriting structure.

Below is a signature that is partly original, and partly conforms to the handwriting structure.

The Graphology Guru watched the writer sign this signature, as smoothly and fluidly as if it were just any old signature. Yet you can see it is both a signature and a pictorial representation of an artist's brushes and palette.

The writer was showing herself in her signature but also showing the world her "artistic" approach to life, the artistic emotions and actions she wanted the world to see.

In yet another pictorial signature we have a smiley face drawn in the "a" of the signature.

This smiley face in the signature indicates of a person who wishes to put on the front of an extroverted, outgoing personality, even though she is really a very independent individual - albeit a romantic one, as another sign in the signature reveals.

In the next sample, the writer's signature is notably smaller than the script.

In this case, one can assume that the writer is more modest that she demonstrates. It is as if she is assuming a role in life that is not a genuine expression of herself.

The Body Of The Writing

But it is in the body of the writing that the graphologist can get his best view of the writer's personality.

In the body of the writing above you can see that the lines of writing ascend, a sign that the writer possesses a pushing, bouyant spirit, and is ambitious, optimistic and, often, restless.

Let's look at another example from the body of writing that The Graphology Guru has noted as of interest.

In the sample below, we have a stunning example of the lower loops of the letters (the loops of the gs and ys etc) intruding not only into the upper loops of the writing below but also into the middle zone of the writing - the a's e's, n's etc.

At best, this indicates an uninhibited person who has difficulty controlling his sexual fantasies and one who is over-occupied with his instinctual life. It may also indicate that the writer is prone to erotic fantasies, although they are not usually acted out.

These are just a tiny fraction of the interesting handwriting factors The Graphology Guru has discovered in the writing specimens he has analysed over the years.

Like all factors, they reveal to The Graphology Guru the personality behind the writing, the details of what makes the writer emotionally tick.

Your writing reveals the true you. You are as you write.
